Bunki
My spotted terror, my sweet
puppy
You were born all white,
Pure as driven snow.
Connect the dots face half
black,
Where did all the white go.
Nose pink and black,
Tail wag as thunder.
Quiet whimper, scratch upon
my bedroom door.
My alarm clock now silent.
My sweet doggy, puppy, my
baby.
Not four months old.
No growl, no bark,
No patter of feet.
You have left me and taken
much of my heart!
Life was not kind to you!
But life you loved, and you
loved me.
You permeate my memory,
You will not be forgotten.
I plus six remember
Seven of us miss you
Sweet Bunki
You will live in our
memory,
As long as we live.
I, we love you!
