Perfect Vision
It is said ones eyes are the mirrors of the soul,
But I believe this is untrue.
The eyes are but small orbs that bend and perceive light,
It takes ones mind to see.
Vision comes from the center of the mind.
Have you ever seen the wind, or the notes of a melody?
Yet you can hear it in your mind.
You need no eyes to see.
Even the blind man has more sight,
And needs no light to see,
Than the one who has no imagination,
With perfect eyes that see.
Words are all but noise to those who will not hear
And listen not at all to the tolling of the bell.
The blind can see,
The deaf can hear,
Much. much better than we,
Who walk around,
With perfect eyes and ears,
Who can neither see nor hear.
